Saint Mary’s research project one of 7 climate action projects receiving provincial funding

The government of Nova Scotia announced $2.4 million in funding for several community-led climate action projects on November 23rd, including Saint Mary’s University. The project, TransCoastal Adaptations: Centre for Nature-Based Solutions, will receive $238,098 to train homeowners in the Town of Pictou and the municipalities of West Hants and Barrington on how to use nature-based solutions to protect their shoreline.
