IP, Copyright and Generative AI: What Writers, Artists and Creatives Should Know

The use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) is increasing exponentially.  So are the legal questions around copyright ownership of works created by AI technology.  This specialized session will cover what writers, artists and creatives should know about IP and copyright generally, as well as touch on some of the legal issues arising in Canada around the use of generative AI.
