UNB named in Top 100 employer list for 2026
From the Springboard Content Lab
Springboard congratulates our Network member University of New Brunswick has been named one of the Top 100 employers in Canada.
UNB has once again been named one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers by the Globe & Mail—and is one of only three Canadian universities to earn the distinction in 2026.

Here are just a few ways that UNB set the standard this year:
Here are some of the reasons why University of New Brunswick / UNB was selected as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers (2026) and Atlantic Canada’s Top Employers (2025):
- Along with full tuition subsidies for academic courses, UNB has partnered with LinkedIn to offer complimentary online access to LinkedIn Learning for all current faculty and employees
- UNB helps employees every step of the way in starting a family, from a fertility support benefit, maternity and parental leave top-ups, the ability to extend their leave into an unpaid leave of absence, and the option to phase-in their return to work (along with on-site childcare services when they are ready to come back to work)
- UNB helps employees plan securely for the future with retirement planning assistance and contributions to a shared-risk pension plan — and retirees can also stay connected through a dedicated Retired Employees Association, which assists members with health benefits and related concerns, and provides a collective voice to the university
