Tribe Network Showcase celebrates innovation, investment and inclusion

The Tribe Network Showcase brought together founders and investors to celebrate innovation, investment and inclusion in the startup ecosystem.
This Halifax event was a collaboration with the Atlantic Venture Forum, Startup Atlantic, and CDL-Atlantic.
“Impact does not mean concession,” said Rhiannon Davies, Founding and Managing Partner at Sandpiper Ventures speaking on the showcase panel.
The showcase brought together five dynamic investors and five bold founders for two panel discussions, guided by moderators, Savior Joseph, General Partner at Tribe Ventures (Canada) and Tribe CEO, Alfred Burgesson.

The investor panel featured Rhiannon Davies (Sandpiper Ventures), Amoye H. (FoundHers Ventures), Nicholas Brathwaite (Celesta Capital), and Lise Birikundavyi, CFA (BKR Capital).
They shared their beliefs, insights, and personal experiences, encouraging attendees to make bolder decisions and champion the next generation of diverse founders.
Then came the panel of founders. Nifemi O.(Lab 4 Inc.), Collins Chukwuma(ScanSolve), Nicholas LaValle (Clean Valley CIC), and Rashmi Prakash (Aruna Revolution). These speakers discussed what it means to be a founder from an underrepresented community, sharing their stories of resilience, growth, and leading with a people-first mindset.

Founders spoke on the power of letting go of ideas that no longer serve your audience and adapting when necessary.
