Springboard welcomes Hana to its Network

Springboard is pleased to announce that Hana Nelson has joined its network of Industry Engagement Professionals.
Hana is Industry Liaison Officer in St. FX University’s Office of Industry Liaison & Technology Transfer in February 2025.
She has a background in seafood entrepreneurship. She had a successful seafood distribution and processing company that she sold in 2022. She also has a family oyster farm on the North Shore of Nova Scotia.
From spearheading expansion initiatives to fostering community engagement, her experiences reflect a commitment to driving impactful change and shaping a more sustainable future.
Hana joins the Springboard team of 40 Industry Engagement Professionals working in our Network of 19 universities and colleges in Atlantic Canada. They connect researchers with industry, navigating the funding landscapes and helping new entrepreneurs with intellectual property. They also engage industry to help them use research to solve real-world problems.
