From the Springboard Content Lab

The 2025 Atlantic Indigenous-Led Energy Symposium is gathering in Moncton, NB, Oct 28-30 to discuss clean energy, environmental stewardship and the role of indigenous leadership in shaping a sustainable future.

Under the theme “Protecting Mother Earth, Powering Future Generations”, the sold-out symposium will include First Nation leaders, utilities, government, non-government agencies and industry players.

Springboard is gold sponsor

Springboard is proud to be a gold sponsor of this event which is organized by the North Shore Mi’kmaq Tribal Council. Springboard Network members from Universite de Moncton and University of New Brunswick will also be in attendance.

From a modest beginning in 2022, this gathering has grown into one of the principal Indigenous-led energy-sector forums in Canada.

The Indigenous symposium will examine energy as both a resource and a responsibility, emphasizing its deep connection to land, water, air, and community well-being.

Indigenous energy leadership

The event creates a welcoming environment to share knowledge and forge partnerships, hosting more than 350 participants. The program will include workshops, keynotes, panels, presentations, and our signature Industry Tradeshow.

Leaders from within the energy, finance, public policy and environmental stewardship sectors will explore strategies that balance economic growth with cultural and ecological integrity – ensuring a cleaner, more resilient future for the next seven generations.
