Springboard’s CEO Daryl Genge and Niraj Shukla, Director, IP Advantage met with Derek Newton, Senior Vice-President, Business Development & Strategy at Mitacs, to explore stronger collaboration that benefits researchers, startups, and industry partners across Atlantic Canada.

They discussed Springboard’s growing portfolio of commercialization and IP strategy supports and how these can align with Mitacs’ national talent programs to help researchers and founders access the expertise, research capacity, and innovation pathways they need to scale.

Springboard delivers IP Advantage

Springboard’s IP Advantage partners with business accelerators and incubators to give start-ups in Atlantic Canada access to vital IP supports. The program provides support for IP strategy, implementation and education.

Springboard is the Atlantic Canadian recipient of the federal Elevate IP national project designed to help business accelerators and incubators (BAIs) provide the tools Canadian startups need to understand, strategically manage and leverage their intellectual property.
