Remi Richard

Remi Richard is the Director of the Innovation Support Office at the Université de Moncton, where he leads the institution’s efforts in technology transfer, strategic partnerships, and research commercialization. With over 10 years of experience in innovation management and business development, Remi has built a career at the intersection of research and impact, supporting the translation of academic discoveries into real-world applications.

He has managed multiple intellectual property portfolios and has been directly involved in structuring and negotiating major collaborative initiatives with industry, government, and academic partners. His work has contributed to solidifying the research and innovation ecosystem in the Moncton region, particularly within the health and life sciences sectors.

Before joining the Université de Moncton, Remi served as Director of Operations at the Atlantic Cancer Research Institute, where he oversaw organizational development, resource management, and revenue diversification strategies to ensure long-term sustainability and growth.

Remi holds a master’s degree in biochemistry and an MBA in pharmaceutical management. He is a member of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) and the Canadian Tech Transfer Professionals (CTTP) network.
