Aishwarya brings over six years of experience in post-secondary environments, specializing in fostering industry partnerships and addressing the needs of academia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Saint Mary’s University and is deeply committed to bridging the gap between academia and industry.
She has worked as a Project Coordinator at Digital Nova Scotia, where she collaborated with key stakeholders in the tech ecosystem, and Alumni and Industry Engagement Manager at Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Computer Science, where she focused on strengthening connections with industry and alumni.
Aishwarya’s expertise spans relationship building, business development, industry engagement, project management, and event planning.
In her current role at OCIE as a Program Coordinator, she facilitates collaborations between researchers and industry partners, leveraging programs like the Invest NS Voucher Program and NRC IRAP to secure funding for innovative research that addresses real-world challenges.
