Held at Acadia university last weekend, F5://Food gave food entrepreneurs and new media builders a chance to experiment in the development of new technologies and services related to food production, distribution, and consumption. Agri-food pioneers worked together to develop innovative solutions to address particular problems or opportunities. A team called Farm To Table, which developed an interactive mapping application that helps people find farm-related produce or tourism experiences won first prize. Springboard Member Leigh Huestis at Acadia participated as a judge.
