Rambler Metals and Mining is a copper and gold mine in Baie Verte, Newfoundland. This video shows how the mine connected with researchers at Memorial University to improve its gold recovery process. They did this by using a state-of-the-art technology along with sophisticated software to map and inventory micron-sized grains of the gold in samples taken from Rambler’s mine. Researchers were able to learn more about what the gold looks like and where it’s lost in the current process stream.
