Adam Haller

Dalhousie University

As Managing Director, Commercialization & Licensing, Adam Haller is responsible for managing Dalhousie’s intellectual property portfolio and assisting Dalhousie researchers in getting their technologies into the market and put to impactful use. Prior to joining Dalhousie in 2021, Adam practiced intellectual property law at an international law firm in Toronto for over a decade. He has appeared as counsel before various courts and tribunals on intellectual property matters and has advised companies from start-ups to multinational corporations on some of their most complex intellectual property and related challenges. Adam holds a BSc in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from Queen’s University and a JD from the University of Toronto. (OCiE website here)
