Hana joined St.Fx University’s Office of Industry Liaison & Technology Transfer in February 2025. She is working as Industry Liaison Officer.

She has a background in seafood entrepreneurship. She had a successful seafood distribution and processing company that she sold in 2022. She also has a family oyster farm on the North Shore of Nova Scotia. From spearheading expansion initiatives to fostering community engagement, her experiences reflect a commitment to driving impactful change and shaping a more sustainable future. 

As the Industry Liaison Officer within the Research Services group at St FX, Hana works to bring together faculty, industry and community organizations to advance applied research.  She also assists faculty explore commercialization opportunities for their research.

Hana has a BSc from Dalhousie in Biology and International Development Studies, and a MSc in Agroecology from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and ISARA-Lyon.
