Angela Avery is the Acting Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Memorial University. She leads Memorial’s Research Innovation Office (RIO) and is responsible for facilitating and supporting the university’s strategic and long-term approach to advancing innovation and entrepreneurship activities across its campuses. Angela worked in private industry prior to joining Memorial University in 2014. She joined the Research Innovation Office (RIO) in 2022 after four years with the Faculty of Business Administration, where she was responsible for accreditation management and curriculum development, and she serves as one of two Faculty Advisors to Enactus Memorial. Angela has an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce Co-operative (Honours) degree, both from Memorial University.
