Agriculture in Transition is a connector event and summit designed to address the most pressing challenges in New Brunswick’s agriculture sector. Our goal is to bring together key stakeholders, including STU’s new faculty member, an Assistant Professor in Environment and Society focusing on food security and social sustainability in the agri-food industry; NBCC’s new Research Scientist in Precision Agriculture; and UNB’s upcoming Chair in Digital Agriculture.
This summit will foster collaboration among these institutions and engage industry partners, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of agricultural issues through insights from farmers, the Indigenous community, industries, and experts in population health, public policy, and economic development. This event will facilitate the development of partnerships and actionable solutions.
