BioPort Atlantic, the life sciences conference happening October 20-21 in Halifax is looking for medical and biotech companies to participate in the BioInnovation Challenge where $15,000 in cash and in-kind services is available for an innovative start-up. Last year’s winner was Spring Loaded Technologies which is developing a knee brace that both stabilizes the joint and brings power to the knees. Applications to participate in BioInnovation Challenge close September 3rd.
