    Together with NBCC and NSCC, UNB launches the Marine Additive Manufacturing Centre of Excellence

    On May 25, 2017, the University of New Brunswick announced that Canada's first research centre for metal 3D printing for the marine and defense industry is now open. The partners are the community colleges in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick and Custom Fabricators and Machinists is the commercial partner of the centre.

    Atlantic Canada Entrepreneurial Services Passport was launched, growing out of the partnership between Planet Hatch in Fredericton and ConnexionWorks in Saint John, allowing startups to tap the resources of facilities around the region.
