CFI publishes Case Study of Acadia Universities' CARE Facility
Examining its funding impact, the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) has introduced the “catalyst studies”. These studies assess the overall impact CFI investments at one institution have had in a particular research area. Acadia University's Centre for Analytical Research on the Environment (CARE), was chosen for the first study of this kind.
Boost for Nova Scotia tidal
Two Nova Scotian projects, Open Seas Instrumentation Inc. and JASCO Applied Sciences, have been selected and received funding to develop environmental monitoring technologies for tidal energy applications. These projects collborate with NSCC and Acadia University and Dalhousie University, repsectively.
